Matthew 9:12-13 12 But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13 Go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” (ESV)
God did not intend his creation to die to sin. As the world grew darker and began to grow deeper in sin, Jesus was sent to remind us that we are not alone. If sin did not exist in each of us, there would be no need for a Savior. We are all sinners. Jesus offers new life to sinners. The world would want us to think that there are those that appear to live sin free. This is not so. We are all in need of a Savior.
As we seek forgiveness from the Savior, we can let go and give Jesus the opportunity to work within. Make talking with Jesus a part of your daily life, He is always available to you.
Through prayer and reflection, we open the door to a profound relationship with the Savior, one that illuminates our path even in the darkest moments. Jesus calls us not only to receive His grace but also to share it with others. When we extend kindness, forgiveness, and love to those around us, we embody His teachings and become vessels of His light.
Life may present trials that test our faith, but Jesus assures us that in Him, we find strength to endure and overcome. When we anchor our hearts in His truth, fears subside, and hope flourishes. Trust in His promises, for His love is steadfast and His mercy boundless.
Let us not forget the beauty of surrendering our burdens to Jesus. In doing so, we experience the freeing power of His grace, which transforms our weaknesses into testimonies of His power. Each day is an invitation to draw closer to Him, to embrace the peace that surpasses understanding, and to walk boldly in the assurance of His salvation.
